Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms cover your use of TEasy, the desktop application, and this website. By starting a trial or subscribing, you agree to them.
What TEasy is
TEasy is desktop software that extracts data from photographed or scanned business documents and helps you push it into Tally Prime as vouchers. It runs on your own computer; we host only the license/ subscription check and the OCR request is made to Groq using your own API key.
Your account
A trial or subscription is tied to the email address you register with. Keep your license key reasonably private — anyone with it can use it to activate TEasy.
Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full functionality, no payment method required. At the end of the trial, TEasy stops working until you subscribe.
Subscription and billing
Paid access is billed monthly in advance via Razorpay, at the price shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellations and refunds work.
Accuracy of extracted data
TEasy uses AI to read documents and flags anything it's not confident about for your review — but it can make mistakes, especially with unclear handwriting or damaged documents. You're responsible for reviewing and approving every entry before it's pushed to Tally. TEasy is a tool to speed up bookkeeping, not a substitute for your own or your accountant's judgment on your books and GST filings.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to circumvent the license check or share a license key beyond your own use.
- Don't use TEasy to process documents you don't have the right to process.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the software.
Availability
TEasy's local features work offline for up to 5 days without contacting our license server (see our offline grace period). Some features — the license check itself, and OCR via Groq — require an internet connection. We aim for high uptime on the license service but don't guarantee it.
Limitation of liability
TEasy is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including errors in extracted data that you approved without review.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the date above when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, courts of Sagar, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
